This project displays pieces of contemporary art inside historic buildings otherwise not open to visitors. It also puts digital communication, georeferencing, and Apps to good use.
.:. The first site is 15th-century, located right in the middle of the beautiful Città Alta in Bergamo, with a garden overlooking the main street. It was established by Bartolomeo Colleoni, a condottiere who fought for the Serenissima Republic of Venice, and also left the Renaissance Cappella Colleoni to the city. The artists exhibiting here are the Pakistani Huma Bhabha (1962) and Francesco Carone (1975) from Siena.
.:. The second and third Contemporary Locus events will take place at the Cannoniera di San Giacomo starting from late July, and the former Hotel Commercio from late September.
