Sheela Gowda. Remains
April 4 through September 15
one picture only
.:. Sheela Gowda (Bhadravaty, 1957) is a fascinating lady, who says she was scared to exhibit her stones, tar drums, fabric, ropes, watercolors, sacred cow dung in the enormity of the Hangar Bicocca.
.:. She was wrong. Even when small, her artworks fill the naves with their moral strengh and sober elegance.
.:. This is Gowda's very first solo exhibition in Italy. It was time.
