Cinema Godard’s October program includes nine events featuring Sam Green, Paolo Strippoli, Alba Zari, Pawel Pawlikowski, Sofia Coppola, Suki Chan, Arthur Jafa, Éric Baudelaire and Matilda Lutz.
.:. #Human Brains: Screen Talk is the new section bringing cinema and neuroscience into dialogue through nine free events until May 2027. The program presents Sam Green’s The Oldest Person in the World, with neurologist Philip Scheltens, and Suki Chan’s Conscious, with neurologist Daniela Perani. The events are moderated by Sergio Fant and Cornelia Mattiacci.
.:. #Anteprima includes Paolo Strippoli’s The Spiral and Eleanor Coppola’s Making Marie Antoinette. The section also features Lance Oppenheim’s Primetime, Harris Dickinson’s Urchin and Na Hong-jin’s Hope.
.:. #EB presents a focus on Éric Baudelaire’s work on the occasion of his first solo exhibition in Italy at Fondazione ICA Milano. Following A Flower in the Mouth (pictured), Baudelaire takes part in a conversation moderated by Alberto Salvadori, Director of Fondazione ICA Milano. The section also includes Letters to Max and Un film dramatique.
.:. #Studio explores the relationship between cinema and the visual arts with Arthur Jafa’s Dreams Are Colder Than Death, followed by a conversation between the artist and Katya Inozemtseva, Head of the Curatorial Department at Fondazione Prada.
.:. #Supernova presents Alba Zari’s White Lies. Following the screening, the director takes part in a talk moderated by programmer Daniela Persico.
