Those who were lucky enough to come across Ettore Sottsass Jr (Innsbruck, 1917 – Milano, 2007) and his anarchic genius before his death will be lucky to recognize pictures of him and his friends. The others will simply spend hours to admire the photographic side of his production – funny, documentary and ingenious.
.:. Sottsass always took his Leica with him. Thanks to the commitment of Barbara Radice, Sottsass' companion for decades, and Stefano Boeri, current president of the Milanese design and architecture institution, hundreds of printings now hanging on the walls of the Triennale tell the story,
.:. The setting, too, is captivating. Some walls are entirely engaged by single zooms, letting our eyes meander between macrocosm and microcosm.
