Cinema Godard explores the territory of moving images, aiming thus to portray the plurality of contemporary and past cinema. The monthly program follows different directions, each characterized by a distinctive name, like sections of an open and evolving festival
.:. #Anteprima includes premieres of Italian and international films, this month featuring Lisandro Alonso's Eureka (2023). #Nocturna traverses genre cinema in a talk with actor Fabio Testi. During the event, Sergio Sollima's Revolver (1973) and Giuseppe Patroni Griffi's Addio fratello crudele (1971) are screened. #Queerelle returns with Mother Saigon (2023) by Khoa Lê. #Sonic reveals connections between music and moving images with Joan Baez: I Am A Noise (2023) by Miri Navasky, Maeve O’Boyle and Karen O’Connor.
.:. Among the #Selezione proposals, this month includes Wes Anderson's Asteroid City (2023). To the creative universe of the American director, Fondazione Prada dedicates an exhibition project that brings together original sets, props, models, costumes and graphics featured in his latest film. Audiences at Cinema Godard and the exhibition are invited to explore the imagery of Wes Anderson by moving between the Cinema Godard and the Nord Gallery spaces.
