Nelson (Sevenoaks, UK, 1967) spent his life chasing and photographing native populations in peril, obstinately traveling and obstinately posing the people he met in an effort to communicate them to a luckier world.
.:. The result is beautiful and, according to some, touching. The risk of hiding behind posed faces to declare one's insecurity is evident, however. Posterity will judge.
