more pictures .:. The current Milan exhibition space of the Foundation, the brainchild of designer Miuccia Prada, is the third and largest in a series started in 1993, always located in the south-eastern quadrant of the city.
.:. This time it's a complex of former industrial buildings which were harmonized and redeveloped by 2015 according to a project by Rem Koolhaas, and later joined by new buildings. Performances, exhibitions, conferences-interviews and films – more than one at a time – focus on contemporary art, and invariably attract the metropolis' glitterati as well as young and curious fans.
.:. The cafeteria was stylized by Wes Anderson, a director from the USA, as a cinematic set, something like the backdrop for a cartoon-movie Milanese coffee bar from the mid-1900s.
