The Salone Nautico is a landmark for both the nautical trade and boat-lovers. Engines, equipment, accessories, clothing and specialist publications are all part of the fair. This edition displays one thousand boats from around 750 exhibitors.

To mark the occasion, the city comes alive with events, and mobilizes its cultural institutions: from the Unesco Heritage Sites in Via Garibaldi to the Galata Marine Museum, from the Palazzo Ducale to the exhibition on Ottoman art at the Palazzo Nicolosio Lomellino.
