Funded by Intesa Sanpaolo (a leading Italian bank) and laRinascente (an historic department store nearby), the Magyar Szépmüvészeti Múzeum from Budapest is temporarily lending to the city of Milan the Madonna Esterházy by Raphael.
.:. The painting is the last work that Raphael produced in Florence, before moving to Rome in 1508. It was stolen from the Hungarian museum in 1983, yet retraced and recovered in 1984.
.:. On December 7 the exhibition closes at 12 noon; on December 24 and 31, at 6pm.
