Despite technology, while entering the vast and wonderful darkness ot the Hangar Bicocca you feel like experiencing a forest of archetypes, where you happen to identify yourself with a coyote or a dream. The only reason why the artist cannot be called a shaman is that "I don't go into any trance".
.:. Jonas (New York, NY, 1936) is considered as a major figure for the history and theory of performance. Her works here span from 1971 to 2013. A bilingual booklet with all the texts implied is available free.
.:. On Tuesday, October 21, 9pm, Joan performs at the Hangar with Jason Moran, and the performance is entitled Reanimation.
