The Expo 2015 is coming closer, and its focus on "Feeding the Planet. Energy for life" calls for a stronger relationship between Milan - historically an industrial town - and the farmlands around. To fill the gap, the FAI (Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano) organizes a cycle of events, including a feast and a hot air balloon in Piazza Duomo, agricultural products on sale in the Sforza Castle, and tours across the Parco Sempione.
.:. The FAI also introduces four new cycle paths, to be actually pedalled in May and in September, along the Lombard waterways, from the Navigli to the Villoresi canals, from the Olona to the Oglio rivers.
